Join us.</div>About the Team:&nbsp; The Facilities team ensures that every operation across the site is “go” at all times, supporting everything from power and utilities to highly specialized machines like industrial 3D printers. Our 1 million square foot headquarters is complex: one structure, but functionally 20 mini factories under one roof. That complexity brings unmatched opportunities to grow your skills through cross-training and ownership of specialized systems. With rapid expansion and development of the facility, we’re helping build a truly state-of-the-art work environment. This team is deeply embedded in both planning and execution, brought in early to shape the physical assets that will support scaled operations. About the Role: <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Respond to and resolve facilities tickets within 2 days which could include high quality drywall repair, patch and paint, furniture builds, tv mounting, wall framing, high level finish work or other repairs</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Maintain general consumable stock items</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Organize and maintain equipment</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Maintain general site surroundings and facilities</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Moves materials through use of equipment moving machinery such as hand trucks, forklifts, and golf carts</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Provides recommendations for facilities improvements</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Perform other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management</li> </ul> This is a first-shift position with which consists of an 8-hour standard workday, Monday through Friday and may include overtime. Shift start and end times may vary due to business needs, but are typically between 5:00am and 5:00pm.&nbsp; About You: <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">High school diploma or equivalent</li> <li>Experience with heavy equipment (forklift, reach-lift, man-lift, etc.)</li> <li>5+ years of relevant experience in high-end, high-quality repairs</li> <li>Ability to provide before and after photos of relevant prior work</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Reliable transportation and the ability to complete assigned shifts</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Ability to lift and manipulate 50 pounds</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Ability to work from heights and on ladders as well as squatting, stooping and/or kneeling with a tool belt</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Flexible schedule and ability to work non-standard shifts, overtime, and weekends as required</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Periodic or frequent work in extreme outdoor environments: heat, cold, wind, rain </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Valid California state driver’s license and acceptable driving record required</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Willingness and ability to pass in-house Forklift certification, required</li> </ul> Nice to haves but not required:&nbsp;&nbsp; <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">5 years of work experience at the journeyman level or higher</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Specialized certifications in maintenance or repair industry</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Experience as a mechanic or carpenter&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve electrical, mechanical, and/or plumbing systems</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description">At Relativity Space, we are committed to transparency and fairness in our compensation practices.
