Astranis designs, builds, and operates its satellites out of its 153,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Northern California, USA.</p></div><p><strong>Sales Director – International Goverment </strong></p> <p>Astranis is seeking a Sales Director to lead sales into foreign militaries, ministries of defense, and government agencies outside the United States. This is a cross-regional role, owning capture strategy and deal execution for international government and defense customers globally — from initial engagement through contract close.</p> <h4><strong>Role</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Build and manage a global pipeline of foreign government and military opportunities across all regions (not tied to a single territory)</li> <li>Lead and manage responses to RFIs, RFPs, and other formal government procurement processes, partnering with technical and proposal teams</li> <li>Coordinate and deconflict efforts with the Astranis USG team where applicable</li> <li>Develop deep expertise in how foreign governments and militaries procure satcom and secure communications — budget cycles, procurement law, offsets, and decision-making structures — and apply it to capture strategy</li> <li>Build senior relationships with defense/government stakeholders, attachés, primes, and channel partners</li> <li>Travel internationally and extensively to support business development, negotiations, and customer relationships</li> <li>Partner with Network Planning, finance, operations, legal, and USG teams to develop strategic pursuits</li> <li>Support pricing, deal structuring, and negotiation for sovereign/defense capacity and service agreements</li> <li>Deliver accurate pipeline forecasting and reporting to Commercial leadership</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Requirements</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Proven track record selling to foreign militaries or international government agencies — satcom, defense, or secure comms preferred</li> <li>Strong knowledge of government/military procurement, including RFI/RFP cycles</li> <li>Existing network within target markets' defense and procurement communities</li> <li>Comfort with travel on short notice; foreign language proficiency strongly preferred</li> <li>Technical fluency to speak credibly on satcom architecture and capacity</li> <li>Comfort operating in a high-security, compliance-sensitive (ITAR/EAR) environment</li> </ul> <h3> </h3><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><div><strong>What we offer: </strong></div> <div> </div> <div>All our positions offer a compensation package that includes equity and robust benefits.</div> <div> </div> <div> <p data-path-to-node="3">Base pay is just one component of Astranis’s total rewards package.
